I have a Asus X550L which is not functioning anymore due to short circuit as what the technician said, the problem was its on board power chip which they said they have to replace the entire mother board which is cost a lot. so does anyone can share a diagram of this or anyone knows the exact details on that power chip because now a days Im sure we can search or order it online.. please help thanks..
Hi Sheldon, This link shows the input unit of a laptop motherboard (DC jacket, capacitor, etc.). It might help you to localize where the power IC is on your motherboard. There might be a diagram available for your laptop here. However, you also need to have the program to view the file. I hope this helps. Steffen
