Hi All, Looking for the chip diagram/schematics for the above HP model. The Motherboard number received from HP support is 806345-501. Any help would be appreciated. thanks Roy Update (10/28/2020) Thanks for that Jayeff, had a close look on the motherboard both sides, i’ve attached photos of the board perhaps someone could help me find this board model number? https://computec1-my.sharepoint.com/:i:/https://computec1-my.sharepoint.com/:i:/… Much appreciated,

Thanks @jayeff, your help much appreciated. I’ve checked both links for schematics and both are not correct system. What I really need is to identify the chip that got fried. which looks like its marked on the board as “C2503” next to the white battery connector. Unfortunately as it is fried its id number is partly invisible. Any ideas how to identify which chip it is? On a second thought I’m not sure the schematics would help, maybe a boardview? Any ideas how to find the chip number? Update (10/29/2020) Here are a few closeups https://computec1-my.sharepoint.com/:i:/https://computec1-my.sharepoint.com/:i:/https://computec1-my.sharepoint.com/:i:/… thanks again @jayeff

Hi @roymal , To find schematics for motherboards (or any circuit board) the board number information is required as it may have been made for the laptop manufacturer to order by a different manufacturer The board manufacturer’s name may also be on the board along with the board number and revision state but sometimes not. The number that you have been given is the HP part number for the motherboard, not the board number and searching online using this part number or the laptop model number gives no results for the schematics. What is the motherboard’s board number? The board number is printed on the motherboard itself. Here’s the maintenance and service guide for the laptop, taken from this webpage. Go to p.36 to view the necessary pre-requiste steps and then the procedure to remove/replace the systemboard. You don’t have to remove it but this should be helpful in gaining access to it to find the board number. Apologies if you know how to do this already When you have found the board number search online for (insert motherboard full board number information) schematic to hopefully get results. If you find the schematic (or the board number) and you need more help, post back here Update (10/28/2020) Hi @roymal , Bit of information, hopefully not sending you totally off on the wrong track. Found this link that says that HP Omen 15 / HP pavilion 15 laptops are a Quanta motherboard series G35D Found this link to a Quanta G35D R1a schematic.

Disclaimer«««««««««««««< Nothing is to say that this is your motherboard but it may be a starting point if a few things line up between the board and the schematic

I also checked under “M2X20PA” as this is the product code for the exact laptop but no joy there either. Maybe you could gently peel off the sticker that says to “Replace with HP spare 806345-501” and see if there is anything on the board underneath it. Also to make things easier for you in the future perhaps here’s how to add images in ifixit Adding images to an existing question Maybe @oldturkey03 will have some ideas as well.
