Chosen Solution
With all the hints given by a MotoAgent on the Lenovo Forum the fingerprint scanner is still not working. Als not with putting the firmware back via the “rescue and smart assistant tool” connected on my PC. I seems like a hardware problem and that I need to replace the fingerprint scanner. Or are there other things I could try? Thanks in advance! John
I would go ahead and replace the fingerprint scanner. They’re usually pretty inexpensive to replace.
