Bought a second hand a701a machine that hasn’t been used for a while. I turn it on and it makes the required sound although it does sound a little odd. However the beater remains stationery. No-one in Scotland to repair it, any advice on what might be wrong and what I can do about it?
Hi @silverpuster , Don’t know the answer but here’s the service manual for the mixer. It has full dis-assembly and maintenance instructions, parts diagrams and a parts list. Looking at the parts diagrams there seems to be a drive belt and the mixer also has a gear box (see p.10) so maybe the problem is with one or the other. Hopefully this is of some help.
