hey guys i have this problem that started 2/3 weeks ago when i us my pc the keyboard and mouse freezes sometimes (on firefox,games & using MS programs) i know its not my RAM or CPU but i cannot figure out what is causing it my specs are CPU: amd FX6350 GPU:msi nvidia 750TI OC RAM:8GB
I had the same problem, albeit on Windows 8.1 64 bit. In my case, the cause was a power usage problem, whereby a lot of power usage caused Windows to shut down certain functions and peripherals to save power. Go to Control Panel and select Power Options. Then click on Edit Plan Settings. Click on “Change Advanced Power Settings” and when the Power Option box appears, expand USB Settings and PCI Express. Make sure USB setting is “Disabled” and PCI express is “Off”.
I’m not sure if this will help but I once had the same problem. I got a new keyboard and mouse so I installed the drivers for them, but when I went to use the mouse and keyboard they kept freezing. I found out later that all I had to do was restore the system to before I installed the drivers and just use my mouse and keyboard without installing any specialized drivers, I was not able to use any specialized keys but the mouse and keyboard no longer froze.
