Chosen Solution
Cursor is frozen in top left of screen and picture of a mouse is displayed on the screen showing a green arrow to turn it on ( I just use the trackpad). I called Apple and they rank some tests which didn’t resolve the issue and said it was a hardware issue2012 MacBook Air
It looks like you have a faulty trackpad connector, try connecting a mouse and keyboard via usb Get back to me what happens
