Chosen Solution
When I press the 2 key the ipad recognizes it as 2d. There are other such issues e.g. o and return, caps lock and backspace. Pressing either of these keys results in the other also being pressed.
You might need a new touch screen/digitizer for the iPad, unfortunately though I’m not sure how you could test the screen before making the replacement
Probably I did not clarify. it is not onscreen keyboard. it is the logitech slim folio keyboard for ipad
