Hi, Recently carried out a full chassis / rear case replacement on an iPhone 5C. Everything went fine except the mute slider toggle - it just goes up and down aimlessly and doesn’t have that ‘click’ into position which I know it should have. Also, when I slide it, the phone itself doesn’t register its been put on / taken off mute. I assume its not connected but I have checked and the black box appears to be connected to the slider notch. Any suggestions?
Maybe you did not put the Slider in the Correct Position by setting the Plastic Cap onto the Slider. So you can switch the Plastik Slider but it will not switch the inner Slider itself.
