Hello, I own a 3DS and I have noticed for a while that there was minor calibration defects. Since it was minor (a small patch on the touchscreen that didn’t respond) I ignored it. I have noticed since then that the stylus also wouldn’t match up exactly to the place I tapped, and so it began to be a bit of a problem. I have tried recalibration in the settings but it doesn’t seem to be picking up my taps. I really don’t want to get another one because there’s a program that shut down in future manufactured 3DS’s called Flipnote Studio (animation software) and I was lucky enough to get a copy before it got shut down. Please help as soon as you can
Best bet would be to replace the touch screen since the calibration setting isn’t working for you. It’s not a terribly difficult replacement but will take a little bit of time and patience. Order a new touch screen off eBay and then follow this guide: Nintendo 3DS Touchscreen Replacement. Good luck!
