Tv cycles on/off continually Update (08/30/2022) oldturkey03 Samsung model #: LN52A750R1FXZA TV did on/off only a couple of times at first, then would stay on. As time went by, it needed more tries, then it just stayed in the on/off cycle permanently. Worth noting, the circuit board is built into the front 3 1/4" frame on the front of the TV.

@bipper1 this seems to be one of those models that used the cheap capacitors Samsung installed for a while. Those failed pretty quick and took the power board with it. You do want to take a look at the power board and check for domed, leaking capacitors as well as loose and charred looking CMOS. Measure the DC voltage on your connector from the power board to the main board. Should be something like 6.5V. If it is fluctuating (like the voltage drops to 0 and comes back) it’s bad capacitors or power regulators. If you can, post some good pictures of your boards with your QUESTION so we can see what you see. Adding images to an existing question Ultimately number one suspect is the power board and number two are bad IC’s on the main board. It will all depend on what you find during your troubleshooting and by what we see on your boards.
