My xbox typically works fine but as of yesterday whenever I plug the AV cable in it turns off immediately and won’t start as Lon as the cable is plugged in but if I remove the cable it works fine. What can I do to resolve this?

Which Xbox model? Is it the original xbox? Not the 360/xbox one? Have you tried replacing the cable?
