Some bloatwares were in my phone also, hence the camera failed since that time.
Try clearing the data and cache for the camera app. Go to Settings>Application Manager>All Apps (swipe over til you get to it)> Camera, then press the “Clear Cache” followed by “Clear Data” buttons. let me know
