i dropped my iphone 6s and it didn’t crack but both front and rear cameras aren’t working. i can open the camera app but the screen is just black. and the flash doesn’t work
here’s the steps I would take 1.) Attempt to reflash a software update through itunes. choosing update instead of restore will retain your data if successful. 2.) Replace cameras. Depending on which side it fell on is which camera I would replace. Fell on back, back camera. Front, front camera. Usually if neither camera works in the camera app, it’s usually an issue with only 1 camera on these devices. Though it could possibly need both cameras. 3.) Once cameras are replaced, if still nothing, attempt a full factory reset with new cameras installed. I rarely see it but sometimes software can be picky with hardware so if all else fails I’d do a full reset. hope this helps
