My charger started smelling like burnt plastic and it stopped working out if nowhere
Miguel, This could be caused by a few different things. One: aftermarket chargers are never recommended for smartphone because they are made cheap and tend to short out. Two: the ac adapter ( the box that plugs into your power source) should have a bad resistor and is allowing too much current into your phone producing heat and melting your chord and potentially damaging your device. And third: you’ve got lint and debris in your charge port that could be a pontential risk for greater issues. Check your port and clean it out properly.
