Chosen Solution
When I click the power button, the power indicator led gets brighter and I hear a whistling noise, then the led dims again and the whistling noise stops… but SOMETIMES the TV does come on. But when it does, it recognizes HDMI cables as DMI and I can’t use it.
Hi @pleasehelpnerds, you had mentioned about some whistling sound, there could a possibility of bad capacitor, open it up and check, if possible take some pictures for us to see :)
