My device show me this message " not registered on network " How can I fix it?
So this can happen when there is an issue with your sim card. Thankfully there’s some ways to fix the issue! (I categorized these what to do in order) Reinsert the sim First, turn off the phone and try removing the sim card and reinserting. Then turn on the phone. Sometimes the sim card might’ve not been inserted properly. Select the Carrier Network Manually Otherwise, open the Settings app on your phone and go to Connections. Next, tap on Mobile Networks. Select Network operators and turn off the switch next to Select automatically. After that, your phone should automatically start looking for all the available networks (Make sure you Locate and choose your carrier from the list) Check the Phone’s Preferred Network Type Next, I would check the phone’s preferred network type. To do this, open the Settings app on your phone, navigate to Connections, and tap on Mobile Networks. Then select Network Mode to choose LTE/3G/2G (auto connect) Reset Your Network Settings And if all else fails, open the Settings app on your Galaxy phones and scroll down to select General management. Tap Reset and select Reset network settings from the following screen. From there, follow the on-screen instructions to begin the restoration process. Your phone might ask you to enter the lock screen PIN. Once done, reboot your phone and see if it can connect to a network Check for System Updates Go to Software Update in the Settings app. Download and install any pending updates to see if your phone can connect to the network. Wipe the Cache Partition Turn off the device. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Power key. When the green Android logo displays, release all keys (‘Installing system update’ will show for about 30 – 60 seconds before showing the Android system recovery menu options). Press the Volume down key several times to highlight the ‘wipe cache partition’. Press the Power button to select. Press the Volume down key until ‘yes’ is highlighted and press the Power button. When the wipe cache partition is complete, “Reboot system now” is highlighted.
