My epson p50 is being read as the T50 model instead so therefore it also demands the ink cartridges for T50 and won’t read the ink cartridges for P50. I had the circuit chip board/cartridge connector replaced, I’m not sure if that is what caused it. Update (09/19/2017)
This is what I had replaced because it was damaged so I had it repaired. I wonder if I change the chipboard placed on the cartridges for a T50 one, would that work perhaps? Because the connector should read the cartridges as T50 ones right?
I’d guess the repair is what’s done it. Was it done by an Epson certified centre? Either way, I’d go back to them and ask them to have another look at it.
