my galaxy s5 active will only turn on with USB cord plugged into wall and i have to push the cord a certain way in the charging port. i have tried different batteries but it wont turn on unless its plugged in. then once it finally fires up it will stay on less than a minute than shut off. IN MADNESS I DWELL !!!!! PLEASE HELP
Clean the charge port out as carefully as possible so as not to damage any pins. They usually end up full of lint and other crap from our pockets. You have tried several batteries. That they don’t work shouldn’t be dependent on the charging port connector. Have you tried using an external charger to charge one of these batteries up? It might not be worth replacing the charging port if you can get by with an external charger.
