Chosen Solution
so basically i just got my new charger for my gameboy adv. sp and so i plugged it in and it has a little amber light on the plug, i then fully plugged it in but it only turns on the off immediately.. i have had this gameboy for a long time and my charger broke so it took me around 6 years to get a new charger because i kept forgetting. what’s happening ?? thanks :)
Is it the charger or gameboy that turns off? If it’s the game boy: First,it could be a bad charger. It may not be outputting enough power. Have you unplugged the battery then plugged it in to see if it works? I have to say if you try another charger and it still doesn’t start without the battery plugged in,it’s probably bad.
