My HTC One X was working perfectly fine but then suddenly the screen went black. I tried connecting it to the charger but the red charging light wouldn’t come on. I also tried ringing the phone but nothing happened. I tried holding the power button for about 15 seconds, still no response. The final thing I tried was to connect it to the computer to see if the computer would detect the device however the computer didn’t. I don’t know what else to do, HELP?!?

Mine blanked too! This twist thing (below) actually worked: http://www.htconeforum.com/forum/htc-one

It seems your phone died for broken motherboard or battery, you need to send for professional check.

You have what’s know as the black screen problem, ( I have too) there is a fix but it involves taking the phone apart and putting a bit of paper between a ribbon cable bend. I’m looking for the fix again myself. In the meantime I bought a new phone LG G2, (good phone recommended) I’ll post back here once I find the fix, but it’s not for noobs.
