Probably it’s normal if you drop an iPhone into a some water, milk or any other liquid except oil. iPhones are not really water resistant. Drop it in the water in a short amount of time, the speaker will distort. Even if you changed the speaker, there may be some moisture still in your phone. This makes iPhone’s speaker distort again due they are not waterproof at all. Hope my soloution helps :)
