Chosen Solution
This happened 4 months ago, the screen of my very cheap A grade display gone nearly pitch black with nothing. But, the touch still works because I connect it to my apple tv. So, I would like to know that the LCD is faulty or the IC are bad now.
Try another screen to see if that fixes it. If not then you’ve got a board issue.
