so, i tried to delete an app off of my iPod and it froze. so I had turned it off then on again it just froze on the white apple logo. i turned it off or reset it again and it won’t get off the screen. occasionally it will flash white, but other than that it won’t do anything. it is barely a year old. i don’t know what to do and i have been trying to connect it to iTunes but my computer won’t recognize it :( what can I do? i want to try everything before I spend money to go get it fixed. anyone have any suggestions or anything?

you have to force the device into DFU mode and use a restore image on your phone. http://www.pocketables.com/forum/showthr… that’ll explain how to put your phone into dfu mode.

My apple ipod nano 4th gen strucks an apple logo..please help me

Have you tried while it was turned off, opening iTunes and holding the home button while plugging it into your PC and trying to see if it will recognize a phone in recovery mode, might try that before opening it Personally I would say drain the battery or open it up, take the battery connection of the board, and hold the power button for a few seconds, reconnect the battery and see what it does
