The other day my iPod was about to die, so I plugged it in and shut it off (Since I use a charger not made by apple, I have to shut it off in order for it to charge). It was charging overnight, or at least that’s what I thought. When I woke up in the morning I went to see if it charged but it didn’t. It didn’t even have the sign that showed that it was dead. Its been almost a week now, and it still wont turn on. I’ve tried to hold down the home button and the power button to restart it, but that didn’t work. -Here are some details about my iPod -Almost a year old (will be in December) -No damage at all -No water damage I would really appreciate if someone can help. Thanks you.

Have you tried charging it with a different charger or with one made by apple? It might be that the charger is faulty and the phone is completely drained of battery, not broken.
