My device will not turn on when it’s plugged into the wall. It is receiving no power at all when plugged in and the battery will not charge at all as well. I’m not sure exactly what to do to get it fixed or if there is a place where I can buy replacement parts to attempt a repair. Can anyone help me?
@luigi25th, There are a couple of things to try, before taking it apart to replace something. Use a DMM (digital multimeter) to check the output voltage on the charger, as it could be gone. If it shows no or very low voltage, you know that it’s your charger that needs to be replaced. It could also be the battery that’s toast, because some systems have a security system built in that will prevent charging and powering on, if the battery is dead. If you find that the output voltage is OK, you’ll have to disassemble the device in order to gain access to and replace the battery. I believe that the part number for the battery is: SUN-INTE-265
