It was fine all yesterday and then it randomly stopped working. I haven’t dropped it, or spilt water on it or anything. It just stoppped working out of the blue , but the power button works which is weird. what should I do? Reset it? Please help!!!!
Try a SMC reset: turn the Mac off and with magsafe plugged in press shift+ctrl+alt+power all together. Charging led should go from amber to green for few seconds then return amber. Hopefully it’s just that.
Just a suggestion, but any Mac that I have problems with during the first year, I take out an additional two years of AppleCare coverage just so I don’t get hit with very expensive repairs the day after the warranty expires.
