I have a G50-70 modelname 20351 . When I try to turn it on I can see a kind of a glare on the screen, but it won’t turn on. the battery is charging just fine as it is new. before this, Microsoft TechSupport did a Windows 10 Reset since I was having issues with the CPU always throteling at 100% due to a System Interrupt process, the reset didn’t solved the system interrupt and after a week I I was using it fine, but then I tryed to turn it on but nothing… it looks like a CPU fail. I used this PC only for drawing in Fusion360, Photoshop and Illustrator, and some Gaming on Steam. Is there any way to revive it? how can I know the reason of failure?
Hi @rickybiker, What indicator lights if any are showing on the laptop when you try to turn on the laptop? Can you get into BIOS on startup by pressing the Novo key? If you can get into BIOS and it shows that the HDD is being detected (Information or Configuration tab) try starting the laptop in safe mode - Method 2 and check if it turns on and stays on. If it does try repairing the startup by going to Troubleshoot > Advanced > Startup repair and follow the prompts. If you can’t get into BIOS etc try a power refresh and check if that resolves the problem. Turn off the laptop if on and then disconnect the charger if connected. Remove the battery from the laptop and press and hold the laptop’s Power button for 30 seconds and then release. Reinstall the battery, reconnect the charger and try to turn on the laptop.
