Chosen Solution
So my laptop is a Acer Swift 5 with a i7 7th gen core, and recently it has REALLY bad connection to the internet, my home wifi is fine because my phone is working perfectly fine with the internet. Even though the connection is trash, it will still show 3 bars of wifi as if it is really strong. When I load up my computer or any program, it will take really long, like at least a few minutes. PLEASE HELP
Hi, Start the laptop in safe mode with networking and check the WiFi download speed. It may be a program e.g. Anti Virus or a faulty driver that might be slowing things down. In safe mode no startup apps are loaded and only generic Windows drivers are installed. If it works OK, then in normal mode open Task Manager > Startup to check what is loaded etc
