Hi, My laptop stopped charging recently. It works when plugged in but says “1%, not charging. Power mode (plugged in).” My first response was buying a new charger but the same thing happened. So I thought it must be the power jack. I ordered one on ebay and replaced it today. But the same thing happened - 1%, not charging…help! What else could it be? Thanks Magda
Try replacing the battery, and/or the pins and cables connecting the battery to the power jack and motherboard.
