Chosen Solution
I turn my laptop on it powers on but screen is blank in watched a video on how to do a hard reset i tried it my laptop came on however it eventually went off again i tried it the next day it came on again but again eventually back blank ans i have been trying the hard reset ever since but this time it won’t work please give me some advice as to how to solve this problem once and for all
@crystal_gayle could be a backlight issue as well as an LCD issue. Start by connecting an external monitor and see what that displays. If the display shows you will have to check your LCD. In a darkened room on the laptop on, shine a flashlight at an angle against the LCD. See if you can make out shadows etc. If so, then you know it is the backlight if not, it is most likely your LCD.
