Chosen Solution
My left joystick button had drift and didn’t register the stick button. I changed it for the right one on a different set of controllers that had no drift and did register the button. Drift is gone but the button still doesn’t register. Is this a software issue or a motherboard/cord issue?
It could be a motherboard issue if it wont register a click even after switching them. Did the original joystick register click when you switched it to the right joy con? And if you have any working joy cons try switching them to further see if it could be the motherboard.
