My left shift key not functioning and was advised to replace uppercase. Can you guide me to solution?

You can replace the keyboard alone if you’ve got the patience. You still need to follow the same guide just instead continue to remove the keyboard following this video How to replace keyboard in a MacBook Pro A1502. I find once you get the edge up a good pull will yank out the rivets with the backplate. I’ll admit this is still a big under taking more so if you are replacing the keyboard. Its not something I would recommend for a first timer.
