Chosen Solution
My laptop wont power on or show any lights when I plug in the ac adapter. I removed the battery and tried the power button solution. When I reconnected the power the fans started for a couple of seconds and then switch off. I have tried this a number of times but I get the same result.
If the device won’t power on at all, then it the issue may be electrical in origin. Please try replacing the battery with a fresh new one and see if that helps.
