Please see images - I would like to fix myself if possible. Some days it will work for a few days, then I come back the next day, or after moving it a slight bit, it stops working. If anyone has any advice that would be great, the power button does not light up and the screen does not turn on at all. I have taken off the back but I don’t know what i’m looking for - any advice would be hugely welcomed
Hi @jack12345 , Have you checked that there is a steady 19V DC at the plug of the power adapter? It may be an adapter problem - fractured wire in the cable perhaps and not a problem in the monitor Have you checked that the centre pin and the outer ring connectors of the power socket on the board in the monitor both have continuity to the circuit board? Use an Ohmmeter to test from where the adapter plugs into the socket to the socket connections on the circuit board. With no power light problems (or intermittent no power) you first have to ensure that the power is actually getting to the circuit before searching for what else may be wrong.
