With clothes in the front-loader on Delicate setting, machine stopped before the Spin cycle. I pressed start, got error message PF then all to black again. Tried many things, including the ‘unplug replug, open close door 6 times’ reset routine, and occasionally got to being able to see lighted dial and turn it either way before again PF then all to black. Once even momentarily had the pause screen for the 30 minute Quick program, but it went to PF then black before I could hit start. So clearly there is power there despite PF message. What to do? At the very least, how to drain the machine without flooding the floor, given the drain hose exits the machine casing above the water level, and the bottom drain hole is 1" above the ground and I have no container flat enough and voluminous enough to hold that much water. The error PF is a power failure. If unplugging it for five minutes, to allow it to reset fails, I would first suspect the house power system or wiring. Possibly a failing fuse, a short, loose wire. Test receptacle with a multimeter. Next check for a loose wire going to the machine. Possibly a cold solder joint. Use your meter and just start checking up the line till you find the break.
