My laptop is able to charge and turn on. However, the screen stays black. I’ve already tried all types of combinations, using the shift key for safe mode, using command option p and r, among others. I have no idea what to do. Should I change the battery? What can I do?
hello, most likely it broke the GPU graphics card. if you are using Apple Care warranty. Otherwise you can try to connect an HDMI cable \ dvi \ post display and connect it to an external video so you can understand. 1- If the video on the external display works the problem is the display of your Mac to replace. 2- If the external monitor does not work the card is broken down. There are of reeballing solutions that give good results but it becomes more a complicated welding operation at high temperatures on a motherboard with many other soldered components which can be damaged
