Chosen Solution

Hello everyone, Sadly my Macbook slipped out of my bag and fell onto the floor really bad. There are not a whole lot of damage done to the Macbook “shell“ itself (only a little bulck that i need to adjust), however when i try to boot it up i hear the Mac starting sound, and then the Macbook screen just stays white… I tried hooking the mac up to a monitor with HDMI but the monitor does not catch any signal (as in maybe the mac dosent get fully booted up?) I tried launching it in Safety mode, and this does not work either. What do you guys think the problem is? EDIT: I sent the Macbook to a diagnosis, and they said the repair cost would be close to 1600 USD…. which is alot more than what the macbook itself is worth, so im hoping that i can fix this issue my self.

You can find a screen more cheaper original maybe grade “B” (Online Stores) for $400.00 + iFixIt Repair Kit. Another solution is using a external screen, the key here is that you have to disconnect the internal flex cable of the screen, so the motherboard does not detect the internal screen and will send the image to the external screen (I did it so many times for Data Recovery).

It sounds as if the display, the most fragile part of the device, was broken and will need to be replaced. Displays are not cheap unless you can find another Macbook of the same model with a differnt problem and a good display.
