So my MacBook Pro is overheated and the cursor has frozen. I’m not sure if I am supposed to just shut the laptop or to wait for something to happen.
Hope This Helps: 1)Make sure no vents are blocked 2)Put on desk or solid surface 3) Restart computer by holding down power button “Ok, just read another posting with same problem and I think I may have fixed my problem. The overheating resolved after I put the laptop on the table. I may need a lap top cooling pad for future use if I want to rest the laptop on my lap. I also just held down the power button for 10 seconds and the laptop unfroze and shut down.” -GerardBurke
