I installed latest OS and now I get one chime followed by some data readout information and then it repeats over and over again. Only info I can make out is OS version: not yet set

So is it rebooting after the kernel panic? Keeps doing it over and over? Does it look like this?

Do you have the original system installation disk? If you do not have the disk you may have to do an internet install, here’s how: http://osxdaily.com/2014/12/14/reinstall… I am also working with the same problem just on a newer model. I’m about to try lowering the RAM to see if it helps. Here’s my question on it: Kernel Panic with El Capitan and above UPDATE 4/3/18 I contacted Apple suss port on this issue. After a couple of hours and call backs, I have managed to get Apple to better efforts to resolve this. I have uploaded the log to them and it is now going to the specialists for help. They told me they would get back to me within the week.
