Please help. My iMac 2011 main display is black when it is turned on, but the computer still chimes and the peripherals light up. Additionally, the second display works when connected via thunderbolt. Why is this happening?
Lets take a flashlight pressed on the display at a sharp angle are you able to see the faint outline of your desktop and its icons? If you do then your displays backlight needs repairs. If you don’t then your display is in need of repairs.
