I’ve ordered the MX500 2.5 Inch SSD 250GB for my MacBook Pro ‘13 Mid 2012. Upon installing it into the laptop, renaming and erasing it, I attempted to download the OS, Sierra on to it, (VIA a flashdrive). After the first time it failed mid installation. After the second time it also failed mid installation. This can’t be an issue with my hardware? Because it appears to meet the specs if I’m correct? And the only answer I could see is it being the SSD being defected. My previous failed hardrive I swaped it for was a SATA 5400 RPM, disk drive. 500gbs . so if someone could provide me with some solutions that’d be great?
