I got this build mid September and i had nothing but issues It crashes randomly sometimes only while playing certain games, sometimes just looking at the desktop sometimes nothing happens for a week and then it starts to randomly crash while always giving me the “Kernel Power 41” error I’ve tried everything you will find about this topic -Updating drivers -fixing cables -health checked memory and HDD -disabled fast startup And so on Everything was going fine for a couple of days without any issues whatsoever and now all the methods i tried before aren’t helping me anymore and maybe someone here has a solution (i think it’s either outdated bios or my gpu is dying but maybe someone knows it better) Hardware: Ryzen 5 3600 Radeon Rx 570 Be quiet PSU with 500w It’s an MSI motherboard i forgot the name I’ll add it later if it’s important to know¿ Also it’s not because of overheating my cpu doesn’t go above 55° and my gpu never went above 65° even under heavy load
Hi @vystia The BIOS was updated in Aug, 2022 to Ver.7B86vHG and the chipset drivers to Ver.4.07.13.2243 in Sept. 2022 (same for Win10 and Win 11). The LAN driver was updated in Sept. 2022 (do you play games online?) for Win 11 only, and the audio drivers in April 2022. If you update the audio drivers (sometimes they can cause kernel 41 errors) see the Note in the driver link. Here’s the support webpage for the motherboard, for the BIOS and the drivers I mentioned. Maybe work backwards and update the LAN drivers (if Win 11 installed) first and allow some time to see if any errors are still occurring. Then if they’re still occurring update the audio drivers (or do these first if Win 10 installed) and allow some time to see if any errors are still occurring. If not any more then good or if still occurring then update the chipset drivers and again allow time to see if the problem is still there. Finally update the BIOS last of all and check. The reason I suggest doing it this way is that the BIOS is fundamental to the operation of the motherboard and the operating system and updating it can cause problems sometimes so I never suggest updating it just to see if it will solve the problem if there are other options that you can try first. If it is working OK the BIOS doesn’t need to be updated unless there’s a security issue or a known bug that needs fixing and the description for the latest update doesn’t imply this. The other reason I’m suggesting this procedure is because if you do everything at once then if something goes wrong you don’t know which update caused the problem and it is harder to get it back to what it was as you have to roll back everything including the BIOS which may not be easy or even possible. If you do everything at once and it works well and good but you still don’t know which update fixed the problem which may not bother you but would bother me if it occurred again sometime in the future.

The common reasons for computers keep crashing are but are not limited to: The display, power supply, or CPU is overheating. The internal hardware of the computer is loose. Software and hardware are incompatible. Regards, Will
The RX 570 requires minimum 450 W PSU. You have 500 W one, but what is the your PSU grade? Is it a gold or platinum variant? I would suggest you to find a friend or someone who can borrow you a good PSU to try out, or you take your GPU to a friend to test it on their machine. In what you described, this seams as a power problem to me. Ofc, before you swap PSU, please update your system to latest updates + latest drivers for your devices.
