Chosen Solution
I have an Hp computer that used to work just fine, until recently, it takes about 2minutes to turn on when it used to turn on fast, plus when im using it it suddenly lags and i cant use the mouse or move anything when that happens, I turn it off and on to fix, I don’t understand what is the issue. this is my Pc’s info:
Check if you have lots of programs starting up on start up.My last computer had the same problem, click the windows key and look up “task manager” and open it. at the top there will be a list of tabs, click “startup” you will see a list of apps. If you see any like Spotify or Microsoft teams, click on it and in the bottom right corner click “disable” If you play games and have steam downloaded, I recommend not disabling it as from what I know it will refuse to load. How full is your SSD by the way I found that if it’s rather full it can slow down the computer a lot. Not just the unnecessary huge apps but the really small ones as well, when uninstalling them do it via settings. press the windows key and look up add or remove and go from there.
