I just replaced my iPhone 6s battery and everything was going great with battery life. I let the phone get down to 10% charge before I started charging it back to 100%. I even was on a Google Hangouts call for an hour before I initially charged the phone. After that though, my phone has just been turning off and turning back on, even though it’s showing something like 70% battery life. This all started happening yesterday, the same day that I changed the battery. This hasn’t ever happened before and I can only think it’s because of this new battery. Please help! I’m actually thinking about taking this battery out from ifixit and putting my original battery back in! :(
Try laying the original battery on top of the new one and testing it out. Also check the battery health section. If it previously told you the capacity but now is blank, you may have knocked some components off the board while installing the battery.
