Hey guys i own a MI8 EXPLORER EDITION, and my screen went completely black. I was talking with my buddy on my phone and by screen went off, i thought it was the proximity sensor but it wasn’t that, i could still use the face scanner, the touch was working, the speaker was working, the microphone was working, the camera was working every thing was working except the display. I didn’t drop my phone or damage it in anyway. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me through this its very difficult for me to not have a phone to use. Thanks. Arco-
You could try to enter recovery mode by pressing the power button and the volume up button until it boots into recovery mode. If the screen is still blank chances are that it is a hardware issue. If you want to attempt the repair yourself you should first check if the connector is properly connected before buying any spare parts.
