IF I turn it off and plug in to charge, it will stop making a beeping noise for a couple of minutes than turns the phone back on and starts beeping.

a couple possibilities.

  1. the charge port is sending an interrupted signal. This is fixed by replacing the charge port.
  2. The device has water damage. ive seen this happen frequently with water damage. it may need a corrosion clean out
  3. corrupted software. Start with a hard reset, (Home and power for 20 seconds). if this doesnt fix it, try a factory restore. FACTORY RESET WILL ERASE ALL USER DATA.
  4. Its weird, but i have had a couple instances where there was a short in the screen flex causing this issue. Replacing the screen fixed the issue.
  5. Board failure. This is not repairable at a basic level. You would need to have access to schematics, and component types, as well as an expertise in SMT soldering.

Bad charging cable .. causing intermittent connection issues. A new cable should fix the problem ..
