I have tried different wires, plugs, sockets and still no charge.. Anything that will help?
Hi, Using a magnifying glass and a strong light visually inspect the phone’s charge port for any damage i.e. all 5 pins are there and that they are straight and parallel with each other, or if there is any debris (lint etc) lodged in the port enclosure that is preventing a good electrical connection. If there is any debris in the port do not use a pin or metal probe to try to get it out as you may damage the pins or cause electrical problems in the phone. Try using a vacuum cleaner instead to try and suck it out. If it won’t budge, try using a sharpened wooden toothpick to very gently, stress very gently, prise it out. If there is damage the charge port will have to be replaced If the charge port seems OK, how old is the phone as it appears to be a new model? If it is less than 12 months old, consult the manufacturer’s warranty statement that should have come with the phone as to what to do to make a claim for a manufacturer’s warranty repair or replacement.
