I plugged in my phone for 30 mins until i noticed that it was no longer charging. When i took off the charging cable, it smelled burnt. The charging port also smelled burnt. Im wondering if its the charging port or if i have to use the original htc cable to charge the phone ?
I’ve got the same problem. My phone will only charge sometimes and the times that it doesn’t charge, it gets really hot and start to smell smoky.
i think your phone battery does not work correctly. check your battery
Hey, jimmy My phone has the same problem the usb port where it is connected to the motherboard is fried or the whole motherboard is fried but hope it is USB port is fried
