Chosen Solution Hi guys, Not sure if this topic is appropriate here, I have a MacBook (retina, 12" early 2015) model that works fine but sometimes black screen appears while the macbook is running (even if I attach it to an external monitor). I bought it about 1.5 years ago and it is already out of warranty and so I didn’t bother bring it to apple for repair. I am not a tech savy person, have no idea how to fix it and thinking to just let it go by selling the parts or the whole macbook because it is still working fine....

Put the charger only and start your phone after starting shutdown completely. Putback everything and let it remain shutdown don’t try to start , charge for few hours it should work normally.

Chosen Solution Switched on the monitor after a week away and was fine for about an hour. Heard a pop and it went black. Suspect it’s the PSU. I bought a replacement monitor since I needed to get back to work. Now that I’ve opened it up, the power supply board looks physically fine. Expect perhaps a blown cap or something. How would I go about checking if I should risk buying a replacement board off eBay etc....

Chosen Solution I have a Mid 2007 (A1224 EMC 2133). I’ve had it for about 10 years. It died suddenly about a month ago. No dramatic end, no smoke, no flames. I did some research and figured that it might be the power supply. I purchased the appropriate one from Ifixit and installed it. This didn’t work, the computer is lifeless. Is this a loss cause? Chosen Solution I have not synced anything to icloud or itunes,and it says disabled connect to itunes and shows airplane mode ,I entered wrong password too many times There is a workaround but it means loosing all of the data on the iPod. If you don’t feel like waiting for the device to stop being disabled, you can put it in DFU mode, connect it to a computer with iTunes, and restore it....

Chosen Solution I have a HP probook 640 i dropped it yesterday and now it only works off the mains. this is what i have tried already: I Have removed battery and put it back in nothing changed still didnt work I have gone into “Device Manager.” Under Batteries, and uninstalled Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery and reinstalled - still didnt work , i have also Update the Driver’s i have also updated the BIOS i have put in another battery and still it wont work off the battery only the mains The battery was 79% and since its been on the mains it has charged to 100% so the battery is charging ....

Chosen Solution My LG tv screen has went dark, I can still hear audio fine and can see the picture very slightly when I shine a torch on it but can’t see anything when i turn the torch off, is there a way to fix this? Typical problem with this TV is that the backlight LED is burned off. With a little routine and knowledge of TV technology, LED lists can be changed and TV will work again....

Chosen Solution Panasonic plasma TC-50S2 turns on great,but the picture is showing signs of beginning solarization. Have checked all caps for bulging (all look good), also checked all cables and ribbons for looseness. Can anyone tell me what else to check? Thanks. Christopher74Faith since this is a Plasma TV things are a bit different. Most common issue on Panasonic Plasma is either a failing/failed A-board or a bad digital board. So we would need to see your boards etc....

Chosen Solution I factory reset my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-53 laptop, and it’s been stuck on a cycle of constantly rebooting. When I turn it on it loads up the usual booting screen, then goes to a welcome screen, then instantly skips to an “Installing Windows” screen for a split second, and it constantly repeats this. The installation is frozen at 64%. What can I do to fix this? Create a windows install USB with the Media Creation tool on another PC and do a clean install....

Chosen Solution Pull the latches gently one by one while pulling the metal plate out once all lathes are removed metal plate will be free. Keyboard is underneath it. Replace and latch the metal piece back and you are done.
